Almost 2 years ago we moved from "DUNEDIN" Fl to "Apollo Beach" Fl and lived in Pinellas County since 1976. Its been a tough adjustment since there was always something good always going on there...... We have followed you through out the years in the county & Tampa than lost ya for awhile... After moving over here we started wondering hmmmm```` All I can say is thanks:) for coming to this neck of the woods.... I am the editor of Blues In Britain magazine. My husband and I will be staying in Sarasota 15th - 30th December and want to hear some blues. Of course, you may not be based there anymore but I thought it would be a start to ask you where I should go and what to see. I have been to St Petersburgh for the Tampa Bay Blues Festival once, so I know of one blues bar in St Pete's (is it the Boxing Ring?)and that Roy Book Binder lives there but otherwise I am completely ignorant of what goes on. Can you help?

You gotta be the same Gene Hardage who went to Berry College back in mid 70's. We jammed together in Rome GA and went to ATL and saw BB King at the Electric Ballroom. I was friends with Jay Barker. For those of you that try to frequent SS performances and missed the Harley show at the pier in St Pete, you DID miss it. Slim, Josh, and TC absolutely tore it up. Never have 2 geetars and a harp battled so fiercly as what I witnessed in their last number. I swear, the goosebumps were as big as nipples. When those 3 get together, you gotta be there. No doubt!
