For those of you that try to frequent SS performances and missed the Harley show at the pier in St Pete, you DID miss it. Slim, Josh, and TC absolutely tore it up. Never have 2 geetars and a harp battled so fiercly as what I witnessed in their last number. I swear, the goosebumps were as big as nipples. When those 3 get together, you gotta be there. No doubt!

You won't remember me, but I used to hang, occasionally, at the warehouse in Fruitville about the time they pushed I95 through the cattle pastures of east Sarasota, as they say "back in the day."

In fact, I was with Chip Voss (at his mom's house on Webber Street) when you brought Pam by to meet him. Sometimes poor eyesight IS a blessing...

Anyway I live near the beach in Melbourne but missed your gig at the Beach Shack. Let me know when you're due back in town.

Another venue to think about is Lou's Blues on the beach in Indian Harbor.

It's a little more "local" than the Cocoa Bch crowd and these locals remind me a lot of what Sarasota used to be - but has since been over run by "transplants."
